1 tablespoon sunflower oil
2 tablespoons minced garlic
½ ounce white cooking wine
2 cups whipping cream (35%)
Salt and pepper to taste
*2 cups cooked penne
Basil or parsley coarsely chopped for garnish
Warm oil in heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and roast over low heat until browned (approx. 2 mins). Deglaze with wine and bring temperature back up to medium.
Add in heavy cream and allow to reduce by half volume over medium heat, stirring often. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley. Serve hot.
*Pasta should be al dente. Cook according to package instructions.
