French Toast Recipe

Ingredients: yield 2 slices

2 slices thick cut white bread (Texas toast)
1 egg
¼ cup whipping cream
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of cinnamon
1 teaspoon butter

Crack egg into a small bowl and whip lightly.

Add in cream and spices and whip until incorporated.

Preheat a large skillet pan to medium heat and add butter.

Once butter has begun to brown, dip bread in eggwash and cook approximately 3 minutes a side – until golden brown and firm.

Remove from pan, and serve with choice of syrup, and choice of side.
