Pumpkin Cookies with Brown Butter Icing

2/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar
¾ cup soft butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup canned pumpkin
2 eggs
2 ¼ cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Beat everything together. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes.

Icing Ingredients

3 cups icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pinch of ground cloves
3 tablespoon milk

Brown butter over medium heat (DO NOT BURN).

Pour butter over sugar, milk, and vanilla and mix.

Put a dollop of icing in the centre of each cookie when the cookies are cool.
