Teriyaki BBQ Chicken Breast

Ingredients: Yield 2 piecesTeriyaki Barbecue Chicken 2

2 x 4-6oz chicken breasts, skinless
½ cup barbecue sauce
½ cup ginger ale
¼ cup teriyaki
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon ginger
Salt and pepper to taste

  • Mix together barbecue sauce, ginger ale, teriyaki, honey and ginger. Allow chicken breasts to marinate in mixture overnight
  • Preheat barbecue grill to medium heat and apply a light coating of spray oil
  • Grill chickens for approximately 7 mins per side, until internal temperature reaches 180F
  • Serve with grilled vegetables and choice of side
  • To prepare them as burgers, butterfly the chicken before marinating and serve on a toasted Kaiser bun with grilled pineapple rings.
