Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

1 white onion diced fine
1 tablespoon fresh garlic minced
1 red pepper diced
1 yellow pepper diced
1 green pepper diced
1 cup mushroom button sliced
Fresh basil chiffonade
3 tablespoons Italian seasoning
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 can crushed tomato
2 cans diced tomato
1 can tomato sauce


Sautee onion and garlic, add peppers and mushrooms until reduced by half in texture. Add Italian seasoning, add all tomato products and reduce heat to simmer and cook for 45 minutes. Fold in fresh basil and let rest for 10 minutes. Serve over your choice of pasta.

Makes 5 Servings.
